Solo Exhibition at Mobius Art Gallery
I'm very grateful for the opportunity to show my beaded sculptures at the Mobius Art Gallery at Cascadia College in Bothell, WA. Thank you, Kathy Brown and Chris Gildow!
Catino's lifelong interest in geometric shapes, origami, and tessellations, as well as her love of color and fascination with glass, have come together in this series of beaded sculptures, entirely made up of individual hand sewn geometric shapes. Catino's meticulous work with thousands of glass beads pushes the boundaries of this material: fascinating structures emerge at her very personal intersection of geometry and art.
