Exploring 18th century portraits
The last couple of weeks have kept me busy exploring portraits painted by 18th century artists. I only used pencil and white charcoal. Here are three of them.
I had fun either changing their clothing or giving them a different hair style . It is always very gratifying when drawings start "popping" off the page. Love that part of the process!
