So many corks!

What do you do with a whole bunch of corks?

You make an icosahedron!

This icosahedron is about 24" wide and is made out of approximately 735 corks.  Each cork is drilled and then cut to size, resulting in 1,470 cork "beads".  Those beads are then hand sewn together with around 400 feet of heavy-duty nylon thread.
