A new adventure!
It all started with my friend Stella, who showed me how to make a warped square (or hypar) with glass beads. Her sister Paula showed me a picture of a beautiful beaded necklace she found in a book. This awakened my interest in geometric beadwork and I started beading triangles and warped squares. From there, I thought about how I could assemble them into some type of structure and the idea for “The Fabric of Life” was born. This sculpture grew quite organically and I hope you will follow along as I post updates of the piece in progress.
